Manchester Northern Gateway Hotel.
A new hotel development in the heart of one of Manchesters key regeneration areas. Premcor are redevelop the site for, Hotel, retail and commercial uses.
Keswick.
A new Premier Inn Hotel for Keswick in Cumbria which is designed in local materials sympathetic to its setting within one of the main Lake District National Park towns. Development is due to commence in 2021.
Durham.
Premcor are developing a new 60,000 sq ft out of town for a new retail scheme with Aldi, Home Bargains, Iceland and Starbucks to name a few.
Hampton Inn, Stanstead Airport Terminal 1.
The site was acquired from MAG by Terrace Hill and developed as a 350 bedroomed Hampton Inn franchised from Hilton and run as an operational Hotel, sold to Legal and General. Terrace Hill project.
Wessington Way, Sunderland - Sainsburys.
A site of 7 acres, previously occupied by a car showroom, was identified by Simon as a suitable location, where the owner was seeking to re-locate. A planning application for a new store was successful and a new Sainsbury’s store, which was constructed on stilts. The investment was sold. Terrace Hill project.
Whitchurch, Shropshire - Sainsburys.
Simon identified the site and the lack of retail supply. Following a closed marketing campaign to the four main food store operators contracts were agreed with Sainsbury’s for a new c 50,000 sq ft gross store. Terrace Hill project.
Feethams, Darlington - Vue, Premier Inn, Five restaurants
The scheme included a nine-screen Vue cinema, a Premier Inn hotel and a range of other bars and restaurants. Simon was instrumental in securing the site and the occupiers and seeing the scheme through to a disposal of the completed investment. Terrace Hill project in partnership with Darlington Borough Council.
Bishop Auckland, County Durham - Sainsburys, KFC, Marstons.
A new build Sainsburys food store.The proposal was viable enough to deliver other leisure facilities to the town including a new stadium for Bishop Auckland Football Club.The new football ground and the c.100,000 sq ft Sainsbury’s store ) were completed with a KFC drive-thru restaurant and a Marstons public house. The Bishop Auckland project was funded by Aviva. Terrace Hill Project.
