Premcor Estates (Premcor) has reached practical completion on a significant new logistics facility in Nottingham, which comprises 362,289 sq ft of warehouse and distribution space.
Situated just five minutes from Junction 26 of the M1 motorway, Nottingham 360 is a high-bay logistics and production facility with a warehouse on the ground floor of 329,415 sq ft and an additional office space of 32,874 sq ft which includes a hub office to the service yard.
The 16-acre site on Firth Way, Bulwell, was acquired by Premcor and Barwood Capital’s Regional Property Growth Fund IV in August 2021. It is in a prime location at the heart of the UK road network with good accessibility and strong employment demographics.
Nearby occupiers include DHL, DPD, Bestway Wholesale and ASDA.
The design of the development has been keenly focused on ESG so that the building achieves a BREEAM Excellent rating as well as Net Zero during construction. It has also been Net Zero-enabled for future occupants. This combination of features is likely to create strong demand from any logistics operator looking for conveniently located, sustainable logistics accommodation.
Simon Hawkins, director of Premcor, said: “Nottingham 360 offers a best-in-class logistics and production facility and its neighbours, which are all household names, prove that it is an ideal location as a distribution base.
“We look forward to working with Barwood and the joint agents to let the building and are encouraged by the positive level of demand we are seeing in the market.
“We appointed Winvic Construction to deliver the scheme and project manager, C4 Projects. They have done a fantastic job, bringing Nottingham 360 in on time before Christmas and putting themselves in a strong position for future projects with us.”
Retained agents for the scheme are James Clements and Edward Kennerley of Knight Frank and Steve Moriarty of Moriarty & Co. Doherty Baines advised on the transaction.
